Dear World,

Team U.S.A. Rocks. We won gold and silver in the women's balance beams finals. Shawn Johnson took gold. Nastia Liukin took silver.

I was mad because when I was watching. the night news with Brian Williams they report the results before the contest was aired. I told my dad, that since Brian Williams told me the results before the contest aired, Nightly New with Brain Williams is banned from this house.

I really glad Shawn got a gold, which brings her total to 4 medal. Nastia Liukin now has 5 medals, 1 more then her dad.

U.S.A Got Jacked!!

Dear World,

I'm so mad. The United States of America got jacked when it came to the women's uneven bars. Nastia Liukin had the same score as the gold medalist but because of one judge gave her .1 lower that gave the medal to China. If it was any other sport they would have given out two gold medals.

He and Liukin both finished with 16.725. They had identical 7.7 start values (the measure of a routine’s difficulty) and they each had a 9.025 for execution after the highest and lowest of the six judges’ marks were tossed out. The execution mark is based on the perfect 10 scale, and the first tie-break takes the average of the four deductions that counted. He and Liukin were still tied after that.

For the second tie-break, the three lowest deductions that counted are averaged. When that was done, He had .933 in deductions and Liukin had .966.

“I’m a little disappointed I tied,” Liukin said. “It wasn’t like I got second by three-tenths or five-tenths. I had the same score. That’s what makes it a little harder to take.”

Not that Liukin will raise a fuss about it.

“Scoring is scoring, that’s our sport,” she said. “In other sports, like track and field, it’s all timed and it doesn’t have anything to do with judging. You do your routine and you turn it over to the judges. That’s what we’ve been going through our entire lives and we’ve come to accept it.”

Phelpsing Feat

Dear World,

When Mark Spitz won seven gold medal at the 1972 Summer Games in Munich, West Germany (At the time). When he won those 7 medal, the called Spitzing Feat. It is time to start saying Phelpsing Feat. Phelps has won 8 gold medal, 7 World Records, and 1 Olmypic Record in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Phleps has tied with Spitz with the most world record which is 32.

Phelps does it again!

Michael Phelps does it again. He won his 7th Gold Medal tonight in 100m Butterfly. He won the swim by .01 of a second. It was so close the silver medalist coach filed a complaint to the techincal committee over swimming. They denied the request. Intersting

Dear World,

So I went on my first date....let just say...intersting.

After we took the ladies home at 2200 hours, TAB, BDN, and I go swimming over at Walkers, Well I have to tell the truth....it was more of just sitting in the hot tub. I went home at 2330 hours and watch the Olympics (NBC ROCKS), and saw the USA take Gold (Natisa Liukin) and Silver (Shawn Johnson) and China got Bronze...its about time they get what they deserve. I saw one pirtuclar chinese, jump on the balance beam, checks her balance 4 times, and still get over a 9.0 excution. What the Junt.

Now over to the Water Cube. Michael Phelps. One Word to descirbe him...AMAZING. At the 2008 Beijing Games he has won 6 gold medals and broke 6 World Records. He has 2 more events to complete in. He has won the most gold medals in olmypic history.

I'm very excited for tomorrow. I'm throwing a birthday party for the Office Castmembers Phyllis Smith & Steve Carell ...Happy Birthday. It should be a great party and I'm going to dominate at the office game eventhough Bryson Seastrand has beat me twice. Haha.
